The cleaning drive was organized by Rotaract club of the college in association with the Department of Physical Sciences & Mathematics. The drive commenced with the students assembling in the college quadrangle. They split into groups under the leadership of Arun Kumar, Rotaract president and Kanish Kumar, student leader, BSc. The student groups and faculty coordinators went around the campus and collected plastics and this was later sent for segregation to be recycled. The student volunteers participated with energy and enthusiasm.

We rovers and rangers guided the common people {electors} to proceed voting and also helped the elderly and aged people to go near the booth to follow up the voting functions and arrangements of the duty, also gave supporting hands to the handicap people to proceed voting.

Learning Outcome:
The cleaning drive helped at inculcating civic sense and social awareness among young student volunteers. Accumulating plastic is an environmental hazard. The cleaning and collection drive was aimed at reducing plastics and usage of it in the campus. Student volunteers also learnt about the importance of reducing the use of plastics and promoting environment friendly, biodegradable products.
